What is an AI photo booth?
An AI photo booth photographs your guests and uses generative AI to create a new image or video based on a custom-designed transformation. Unlike a standard filter or face swap, the system generates a new result while using the guest’s original photo as the creative starting point.
How does the AI photo booth work at an event?
Guests step into the booth, take a photo, and choose from the AI transformations created for the event. A QR code appears after capture so the guest can leave the booth while the image processes in the cloud. An Ooh La La Booths attendant remains onsite to guide guests and keep the experience moving.
How long does an AI photo booth take per guest?
The booth interaction takes about 30 seconds. Generative AI photo results are typically delivered to the guest’s phone within 45–90 seconds, depending on the transformation, event connectivity, and processing demand. Guests can leave the booth after scanning the QR code, so they do not need to wait while the image is created.
What is the difference between Generative AI Photo, AI Headshots, and AI Video?
Generative AI Photo turns each guest’s photograph into a custom-designed creative transformation based on your event’s theme, brand, or concept. AI Headshots creates polished, professional portraits for conferences, teams, and networking events and includes 4×6 prints. AI Video transforms a guest’s image into a short, 3–5 second generated video. All three experiences include custom creative development, an onsite attendant, digital delivery, and an online gallery.
Can the AI experience be customized for our event or brand?
Yes. Every Ooh La La AI experience is custom-designed for the individual event. We develop the creative direction and master AI prompts around your brand, audience, campaign, or event theme. Depending on the concept, transformations can incorporate brand colors, mascots, products, locations, characters, environments, and other event-specific elements. The experience is built, tested, refined, and reviewed before event day.
How do guests receive their images, and when is the complete gallery delivered?
After taking a photo, each guest scans a QR code and can leave the booth while the AI transformation is processed in the cloud. The finished image typically arrives on the guest’s phone within 45–90 seconds, where it can be saved, texted, or shared. Processing time may vary by transformation and event connectivity. The complete online gallery and downloadable ZIP file are delivered within 48 hours after the event. AI Headshots includes 4×6 prints, prints can be added to Generative AI Photo for an additional charge, and AI Video is delivered digitally.
